Title: Operation Of Orifice Meter Chart Integrators
Author: Philip C. Morris
Source: 1969 Southwestern Gas Measurement Short Course (Now called ISHM)
Year Published: 1969
Abstract: At this time, the prime cash register of the gas industry is still the orifice meter. It records the pulse of the field production, the humming volumes of high pressure transmission and the busy day-sleepy night town border sales. Every scribe of the gauge pens in these metering stations means dollars, big dollars. The calculation of these charts must be exact so much and so many depend upon it being so.
