Abstract: Development of the high pressure gas distribution system with its required high pipe-line pressure, together with the necessity for reducing this pressure to a point where it can be safely and economically distributed, as well as properly measured, has placed upon gas regulators a responsibility that is of major consequence. Therfore, their maintenance is of first degree importance.
