Abstract: Many users have pondered the impact that VXIbus instrumentation will have on their calibration techniques. These small, faceless instruments bear little physical resemblance to their larger GPIB equivalents, suggesting that calibration and verification techniques may radically change as well. Upon detailed examination, however, there will be far more similarities than differences in calibration techniques.
