Abstract: The Cutler-Hammer Calorimeter has been designed to make it the most accurate and reliable instrument available to continuously indicate and record the heating value of gas. In order to insure precise results certain limitation must be placed on the operating conditions. In general, the greater the accuracy desired the more limitation must be placed on the conditions under which the measurement is made. The following tabulation of desirable installation requirement has been prepared for securing the optimum accuracy available from the recording calorimeter.
