Title: Proper Sizing Of Domestic Regulators
Author: George C. Hughes
Source: 1967 Southwestern Gas Measurement Short Course (Now called ISHM)
Year Published: 1967
Abstract: Proper sizing, or selection, of the Service Regulator determines the accuracy of the outlet pressure control, and the flow rate delivered to the Meter. The regulator selected should deliver the desired capacity within a selected band of outlet pressure with the maximum and minimum inlet pressure encountered in service. Consideration should be given to future pressure conditions, safety, and installation practice.
