Abstract: Sampling of natural gas has changed greatly in recent years. This has been necessitated by the change in emphasis from volume to heating value pricing. It has caused the evolution of sampling techniques and equipment necessary to acquire representative samples. This paper will present in some detail the importance of industry standard procedures for procuring these samples.
