The sense of pace which one who is involved in this new industry feels today is exhilarating and is being shared by a growing number of people. It is well known that transportation in the U. S. today is built around the internal combustion engine. The size of the country, the willingness of public bodies to build highways, the ability of manufacturers to produce vehicles within the price range of a large numbei of people and the availabliity and low cost of the fuel required to operate the vehicle have all contributed to this picture.
