Abstract: With the advent of inexpensive high speed personal computers and their merge with sonic nozzles technology, it is possible to improve a number of critical concerns in meter shop and billing operations. The advantages of this marriage lies in the areas of reduced space requirements and mobility, accurate and repeatable test results, timely meter inventory and customer billing information, and the ability to automate the reporting of test results.
