Abstract: The design and construction of a distribution metering and pressure regulating facility is one of the most challenging projects for a gas distribution engineer. Although many companies have developed standard installations for distribution system feeds, the same engineering principles and design criteria apply to the proper application of a standard installation as to the specialized design for a pipeline purchase metering and regulating station.
