Abstract: The orifice meter is the most widely used type of measuring device in the differertial class. It is accepted by the gas industry as a standard of measurement. It is used in measurement of fluids with extremely low temperature and pressure and extremely high temperature and pressure. It is used for the measurement of very light gases as well as very heavy liquids.
