Abstract: Arkla Gas Transmission Measurement Department has found that field testing of large displacement meters with the low pressure flow prover is an effective means of testing and calibration of these meters. The low pressure prover is very accurate and is virtually maintenance free, but as with any field testing the technician conducting the test should be well trained in the use of the equipment.
