Abstract: Today ultrasonic gas flow meters are widely accepted for custody transfer measurement. Particularly for applications with larger pipe diameters (10 inch and larger) ultrasonic gas flow meters are an attractive alternative and have proven to offer excellent and reliable performance. The key to this is the fact that the ratio between transducer diameter and nominal pipe diameter is most favourable within this diameter range.
