Abstract: The turbine is no stranger to the gas industry. The turbines in this paper represent a novel approach to the generation of electrical power for precision electrical instrumentation. A paper was presented at ISA-Houston, October 1973, describing the Bristol Turbine Power Supply. This paper will include the following: 1. Review of 2-watt Turbine Power Supply 2. Field experience with 2-watt Supply 3. Introduction of 25-watt Turbine Power Supply.
