Abstract: During the past few years, many new and advanced methods have been developed to measure natural gas. Each of these methods has its place in our industry, but the Orifice Meter has to be considered the standard and most widely accepted method of measurement. The purpose of this paper is to briefly discuss the operation and maintenance of Orifice Meters as used in the natural gas industry.
