Abstract: A new line of four-path ultrasonic meters is introduced incorporating new, more compact transducer technology. Simulation and test results demonstrate this meters suitability for use in custody transfer measurement. Additionally, this meter is presented in combination with a flow conditioner, allowing a 50% reduction in straight inlet pipe requirements while accuracy is maintained. Finally, a practical example is given to illustrate the power of the ultrasonic meters diagnostic capabilities.
