Abstract: The natural gas business has been hit hard by deregulation, soft markets and the resulting brutal prices. Its tough to plan when the rules have changed. The companies that have endured are the ones with tough management, good business sense, and an equal portion of good luck. In the meantime, fast, accurate and economical energy measurements are still important. So the challenge of the 90s is: How do I get good energy and composition measurements when I have no money, no time, and no people to do it?
