Abstract: The personal computer revolution that began in the 1970s created a huge new group of time and frequency users, those people who need to keep computer clocks on time. As you probably know, computer clocks arent particularly good at keeping time. Simple clocks like your wristwatch and most of the clocks in your home usually keep better time than a computer clock.
