Abstract: The trend toward higher operating pressures in the field of gas gathering and transmission has multiplied some of the problems of the field measurement man. To define the meaning of the term high Pressure is not within the scope of this paper but many of the problems which exist when measuring at 1000 pounds exist to some lesser degree at lower pressures. The basic components of the field measuring station are essentially the same whether the operating pressure is very low or extremely high pressure.
