Abstract: A definition of a positive displacement meter would be a meter which directly measures volume at line conditions regardless of temperature, pressure, or density of the gas. This type of meter is fundamentally the same whether it is designed for the measurement of water, petroleum products or gas. For the purpose of simplicity, we will only consider the two diaphragm, four compartment meter with D-slide
