Abstract: THE BASIC FUNCTION OF A REGULATOR IS TO CONTROL PRESSURE. THIS CONTROL IS PERFORMED BY REDUCING A HIGHER INLET PRESSURE TO A LOWER OUTLET PRESSURE AND MAINTAINING THIS OUTLET RESSURE CONSTANT OVER A WIDE VARIATION OF FLOW CONDITIONS.
