Abstract: To establish the role than LNG imports will play in meeting our domestic gas demand, three national energy consumption forecasts are compared and IGTs forecast of gas supply by source is reviewed. Next. the status of planned LNG projects is discussed along with the prospective and the more speculative projects. The gas reserves and proximity of each potential supply source are also reviewed.
