Abstract: Mechanical Inspection is a vital part of any development process. To keep pace with the expanding field of computerized design aids, The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. is computerizing the inspection process for its Mechanical Inspection Laboratory. The Computerized Inspection System (CIS) will increase productivity and reliability in the Inspection Laboratory and enable designers and quality assurance engineers to perform on-line analyses of inspection data.
