Abstract: The field of application for remote control and telemetering is vurtually limitless in the remote indication and control of almost any process in almost any industry. More companies are resorting to its use every year as an economical solution to difficult operating problems. The Lone Star Gas Company has made good use of these devices for many years in all operating departments. For the purpose of this study, however, the application is limited to their use in doing specific jobs in distribution system operations.
