Abstract: The purpose of this discussion is to explore the various types of data connectivity that are available for data communications to the various points needed, in the Oil & Gas Industry. We will explore the various data connection types, pros and cons of each type and practical applications. The locations that we will be discussing are primarily in West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio. While each type of data connections is feasible there are considerations that need to be observed. These considerations are cost, terrain, bandwidth, serviceability and power consumption.
