Abstract: The orifice meter will probably handle more different measuring- problems than any other type meter in commercial use. During- the war it has been used in various types of chemical and industrial plants under a wide range of pressure and temperature conditions. It has been used for more than thirty years by the oil and gas industry who accept this type measurement as essential routine in handling large volumes of flow under all types of conditions.
