Abstract: The following brief viewgraphs cover the general outline of a paper whose main purpose is to cover an approach which has been and is being used successfully by a major computer manufacturer. The actual paper delivery will go into more detail and will note those areas which are variable for each individual firm. Nevertheless, the essence of a Reliability Engineering Program -- Analysis and Product Testing, will focus on the need for the efforts, the value derived and the relationship of such efforts to related QA, Engineering and Marketing functions.
