Abstract: Supervisory control and telemetry is the transmission and reception of information that deals with the measuring and/or controlling of a system process. The word telemetering is derived from Greek and Latin terms and means literally to measure at a distance. There are many ways of classifying telemetering. One method of classification is by the means of transmitting data, therefore electric (electronic), pneumatic, hydraulic, or mechanical.
