Title: Transducer Considerations
Author: Francis H. Tietze
Source: 1971 Appalachian Gas Measurement Short Course
Year Published: 1971
Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to discuss some of the problems, inconsistencies, and traps that lie in wait for the unwary technician who seeks absolute accuracies from presentations derived from transducers. Over the years, the gas industry has used recording charts for the operation of their system. With the use of the recording chart, the user is able to review history, predict trends, and through the correlation of this information, he is able to move vast quantities of gas all the way from the source to the consumer.
