Abstract: Natural gas is one of our most valuable and profitable properties. Expert handling will pay abundant dividends however, the flow profile within the confines of the pipeline is very important in determining whether a representative sample is going to be taken. If proper techniques and procedures are not followed, the condition of the sample will lead to inaccurate revenues being distributed to both the purchasers and sellers of the product. Just as the meter tube is the primary element in the gas measurement system and the recording device is the secondary element, the condition of the sample is the primary element in the analysis of Natural Gas.
