Abstract: Help. A, request? A plea? Perhaps if you are famihar with interactive computer programs youll recognize help as a command commonly used to obtain human aid when there are system problems, it is also the function of the A.G.A. Library and Library Services Committee-to provide human input and assistance to those members of A.G.A. who are encountering information-system problems. After all, accurate and relevant information is power. The executive or engineer who has the need to know, and who knows how to satisfy that need, has a competitive edge over those who do not. The same is true for industries, and helping the gas industry keep its competitive edge is the A.G.A. Information Network.
