Abstract: The emphasis in metering over the past decade or more has been on achieving higher accuracies in the measurement of natural gas. Several advanced proving systems resulting from efforts addressing this industry desire are presented. These systems are directed toward the needs and peculiarities of proving both lowflow (domestic) and high-flow (transmission and distribution) metering equipment.
