Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to look at sarie of the accepted rtethods that are currently in use within the Gas Industry, for field control of three inportant environmental health hazards. Ehey are: Mercury, Hydrogen Sulfide and Noise. The main areas that we will discuss are the general aspects of each, methods of detection, exposure limitations and protection procedures required for the applicable hazard.
