Ultrasonic meters are being promoted as a viable alternative to DP meters in wet gas applications. Lets discuss the known wet gas performance of Venturi, orifice and ultrasonic meters in terms of: The gas flow rate prediction bias & published correction factors, & The meters relative abilities to register wet gas & monitor the liquid loading.
