Abstract: There are two very great expenses to be considered by anyone who keeps petroleum products in storage tanks. The first is the cost of the product itself. It Is expensive to lose it through theft or bad Inventory practice. The second is the cost of cleaning up a leak. If a tank is leaking, Its important to know it before that leak becomes unmanageable. Monitoring the product in storage tanks is becoming more and more important.
