Abstract: This paper explains how Northern Natural Gas Company modified its operating LNG facilities and developed procedures to comply with Subparts F, G, H, 1, and J of the new DOT Part 193 rules for LNG plants. The new procedures that were developed cover operating instructions, maintenance, personnel qualifications and training, fire protection, and security.
