Abstract: Accelerated laboratory test methods that have been employed in aging and butt fusion joint studies at Elattelles Columbus laboratories are surveyed. Initial work on the new macromolecular-physical property correlation for polyolefins to identify the distinguishing characteristics of good piping materials is reported, finally. plastic pipe research conducted under A.G.A. university grants will be described.
