Abstract: The scope of this paper will be to present the progress made in Differential Pressure measurement over approximately the last one-hundred years. More specifically, the focus will be on the Primary Flow Element, rather than secondary or tertiary elements. Highlights will include new technologies which have improved measurement efficiency.
