Abstract: There are several methods of heating value determination available to the marketplace, but all fall into two basic categories. Namely: Chromatography and Calorimetry. This discussion will address calorimetry. Three calorimeters will be discussed: the Cutler- Hammer, the Honeywell HVT100, and the Precision Measurement, Inc. Therm-Titrator.
