Abstract: Tennessee Gas Pipeline has been operating with electronic line break detectors since 1972. The early systems are becoming obsolete and are being replaced. In 1981 we decided to install a new system designed by our Electronic Services Section rather than use a coiranercially available unit. This paper relates scsne of our experience with this new system.
