Controllers are aiding personnel in the operation of process by doing a better and more reliable job of regulating the process thereby helping to attain better quality, higher production rates, and lower production costs. What are automatic controllers and how do they work? Let us examine the basic concepts used in automatic control to see what these concepts do for us and how these concepts are used.
