Year Published: 1962
Abstract: The two commonly used devices for the measurement of gas are the positive displacement meter and the orifice meter. This report concerns only the meter run, a complementary part of the orifice meter. The generally accepted authority by the oil and gas industry for orifice metering of natural gas is Gas Measurement Committee Report No. 3 published by the American Gas Association, in cooperation with National Bureau of Standards, ASME Research Committee on Fluid Meters, and Pipeline Research Committee.
