Abstract: In the entire picture of human relationships the most important point is this--and I think Mr. Shakespeare stated it far more eloquently than I can: This above all to thine own self be true and it must follow as the night the day, thou canst not be false to anyone. Socrates stated the same philosophy in two words: Know thyself. The main theme of my talk will focus upon knowing ourselves unless we do know ourselves, it is virtually impossible to create atmospheres where good human relationships can flower.
