Year Published: 1995
Abstract: This class will describe the procedures to be applied when calculating bulk oil quantities (i.e. volume or weight) either held in tankage (Static Measurement) or moving in pipelines through meters Dynamic Measurement). The procedures follow the calculation methods recommended by the API Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards. Other classes at the School will have shown you how to collect the required data, this lesson will show the basic calculation procedures to be followed. Careful physical measurements will be neutralized If the same attention to detail is not applied to the calculations.
