Abstract: This paper describes the tools and techniques for automated precision temperature measurement and reporting in a standards laboratory environment. The Boeing Companys primary standards laboratory in Seattle, Washington, directly supports a host of Boeing secondary laboratories around the country. This primary standards lab, also known as the Boeing Metrology Laboratory (BML), provides direct support to customers outside the company, and direct support to Boeing customers when there is insufficient capability within the secondary labs.
