Title: New Developments For 1980 At Sprague Textron

Abstract: We at Sprague Textron are introducing a new line of flexible-element regulators in 1980 consisting of only three parts the valve body, the elastomeric liner, and a pilot regulator with manifolding. The valve body is unique in that it is a one-piece stainless steel investment casting with integral downstream grillwork. The liner is cupshaped and, when inserted into the body, forms a pressure tight chamber defined by the inner wall of the casting and the liner itself. The liner has a molded bead that seals against the inside wall of the casting. The chamber is connected to the pilot regulator by means of an integral passageway, and it controls the gas pressure in the loading chamber.
