Abstract: A gas meter must have accuracy built into it if it is to accomplish its purpose of assuring the gas company its full income and guaranteeing the customer full value for his money. This accuracey and resultant efficiency are developed by three tests: Test No. 1 - Pressure or Tank Text to determine external leaks. Test No. 2 - Low Flow or Low Light Test to check internal leaks. Test No. 3 - Proving the meter.
