Abstract: A major problem with many electrical property moisture measuring instruments in the Natural Gas Industry has been their contamination by hydrocarbons, glycol, or various inhibitors. The Automatic titrator is a reliable and accurate method of continuously monitoring moisture content which is not affected by these contaminants. It has particularly found acceptance in many locations where glycol has caused problems with other instruments.
