Abstract: We all realize that the Gas Industry has been rapidly changing, and effective gas dispatching requires that more information be available to the dispatcher than ever before. This information has become so voluminous that the mere presentation of raw data is no longer an acceptable method of providing this information. We must keep in mind that the primary function of the dispatcher is to make decisions to insure that an adequate supply of gas is available at minimum cost to meet the load requirements of the system.
