Abstract: Deregulation of the natural gas industry, FERC Order 636, and the business economic climate has resulted in significant changes to industry operations. Increased emphasis is given to the timely and exact tracking of natural gas as it moves from the production wellhead through the gathering, transmission, and distribution system. Improved flow measurement technology is necessary for accurately and cost-effectively carrying out this monitoring process.
