Title: Trouble Shooting Glycol Dehydrators
Author: Don Ballard
Source: 1978 Gulf Coast Measurement Short Course (Now called ASGMT)
Year Published: 1978
Abstract: Millions of dollars per year are lost unnecessarily in high glycol losses, excessive plant shutdowns and equipment replacement. However, a glycol plant, when properly designed, operated and maintained, will provide a low-cost operation, with little difficulty and attendance. This can be accomplished by thoroughly understanding the process principles and physical limitations of the equipment. With this knowledge, plus these operating and ma intenance suggestions, most plant problems can either be prevented or quickly eliminated.
